Práce se zaměřuje na srovnání liberálních stran ve Velké Británii a v Německu od roku 1945 po současnost. Liberal Democratic Party (Libdem) a Freie Demokratische Partei (FDP) jsou srovnávaný ve třech oblastech. Za prvé: Vliv volebního systému na jejich reprezentaci. Za druhé: Historické srovnání. Za třetí: Srovnání ideologické podstaty a programatiky. Hlavním cílem práce je hledat rozdíly a shodné prvky mezi oběma stranami a obecně zanalyzovat pozice liberálních stran v západních demokraciích. Práce je primárně pojímána jako komparace a není zdrojem detailních informací o obou uskupeních.The thesis is comparation of two liberal parties in Great Britain and Germany from 1945 to present. Liberal Democratic party (Libdem) a Freie Demokratische Partei (FDP) are compared in three areas. First: Influence of voting systems on party representation. Second: Historical comparation. Third: Ideology of the parties in comparative perspective. Main purpose of the thesis is to find differences and congruences between both parties and try to analyse position of liberal parties in western democracies. Work is not source of detail information, but it is primary comparation.
