Tato vědecká práce se zabývá systémem financování prezidentských kandidátů, resp. jejich předvolebních kampaní, z perspektivy transparentnosti. Práce zkoumá míru transparentnosti tohoto systému na základě opatření, která doporučují neziskové nevládní organizace působící v ČR. Cílem je představit a zhodnotit stávající systém financování, zdali je transparentní a umožňuje řádný průběh předvolebních prezidentských kampaní. Nedílnou součástí práce a vytyčeného cíle je identifikovat nedostatky, které zkoumaný systém obsahuje. Práce vychází z průběhu předvolebních prezidentských kampaní 2012/2013 a skutečností, které se během ní udály.This present thesis explores the funding system of the presidential candidates, striktly speaking election campaign, from perspective of the transparency.The thesis examines the degree of the transparency of this system based on criterions, which are recommended by NGOs operating in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to present and evaluate the current funding system, whether it is transparent and enables regular course of the presidential election campaigns. An inseparable part of this thesis and of its aim is to identify deficiencies that the examined the system contains. The thesis is based on the course of presidential election campaign 2012/2013 and events that have occurred during it.
