Tato diplomová práce se zabývá kognitivní teorií metafor a jejím využití v oblasti literatury pro děti a mládež napsané v období nacistické diktatury v Německu. Cílem práce je nastínit společný metaforický základ pro literární koncepty, které zaujímají negativní postoj k Židům jako k hlavnímu nepříteli nacistického Německa. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní principy kognitivní teorie metafor a její využití v politické řeči. Dále je vysvětlen pojem propaganda a její konkrétní realizace v Německu mezi lety 1933-1945. Následuje přehled historických událostí od konce první světové války až po okolnosti kolem převzetí moci A. Hitlerem 30. 1. 1933. Poslední kapitolu teoretické části tvoří charakteristika německy psané literární tvorby pro děti a mládež mezi lety 1933-1945. V praktické části jsou analyzovány díla Elviry Bauer ("Trau keinem Fuchs auf grüner Heid und keinem Jud bei seinem Eid") a Ernsta Hiemera ("Der Giftpilz", "Der Pudelmopsdackelpinscher und andere besinnliche Erzählungen"). Pomocí kognitivní teorie metafor jsou znázorněné myšlenkové struktury nacistických autorů a jejich přístup k antisemitismu.This thesis addresses the cognitive metaphor theory and its application to children's and youth literature during the Nazi period in Germany. The aim of the thesis is to outline a metaphorical basis for literary concepts that adopt a negative stance towards Jews as the major enemy of the Nazi Germany. The theoretical part of the thesis describes fundamental principles of cognitive metaphor theory and its application to political discourse. After the term propaganda is explained, including its manifestation in Germany from 1933 to 1945, a brief account of pre-1933 historical events is given, covering the period between the end of World War I and the circumstances that led to A. Hitler's assumption of power on January 30, 1933. The last chapter of the theoretical part looks at defining features of children's and youth literature written in German from 1933 to 1945. The practical part analyses pieces of literature by Elvira Bauer ("Trau keinem Fuchs auf grüner Heid und keinem Jud bei seinem Eid") and by Ernst Hiemer ("Der Giftpilz"; "Der Pudelmopsdackelpinscher und andere besinnliche Erzählungen"). Using cognitive metaphor theory, the thesis strives to depict the structure of Nazi authors' thoughts and their attitude to anti-Semitism.
