Práce se zaměřuje na jazyk a styl e-mailové komunikace z hlediska sociolingvistických aspektů. Vychází z korpusu, který obsahuje téměř 600 e-mailů napsaných v letech 2010 - 2014. Cílem je podat ucelený pohled na současnou e-mailovou komunikaci, na vyjadřování korespondentů, na strukturu e-mailů a v závislosti na tom pak vyvodit obecná stanoviska a teze. Součástí práce je také srovnání výsledků analýzy s nashromážděnými informacemi ze sekundární literatury. Některé informace ze sekundární literatury jsou v analytické části modifikovány a aktualizovány. Kromě toho se práce zabývá oblastmi, které sekundární literatura dosud nezpracovala.The subject of this piece of work focuses on emails and their specific features from the point of view of language and sociolinguistics. The objective is to provide a comprehensive view on the current email communication, the way email writers express themselves, the email structure and depending on that, then to draw general statements and propositions. The topic was selected for the reason of topicality of email communication and also due to the fact that there is no other comprehensive study focusing on the style and language of emails.
