Tématem této diplomové práce je analýza španělských a anglických frazeologizmů souvisejících s náboženským stereotipem. Soustředí se především na přítomnost protikladů Bůh-ďábel, nebe-peklo a zkoumání biblických postav. Teoretická část je věnována kognitivní lingvistice, frazeologii a vlivu kultury na frazeologismy. Kognitivní lingvistika z pohledu přístupu tvoří základ práce, neboť na jejích principech je analýza vystavěna. Frazeologie pak obsahuje popis zkoumání frazeologické jednotky a její klasifikaci, která je pro pro pochopení této vědecké disciplíny klíčová. Následně je zde na etnolingvistice a jevu zvaném kulturém demonstrován vliv kultury na frazeologizmy. V rámci praktické části je na základech z teoretické části vytvořena analýza, která se již soustředí na konkrétní anglické a španělské frazeologismy shromážděné z frazeologických slovníků, při čemž jsou řazeny do sémantických skupin a porovnávány jak uvnitř skupin samotných, tak navzájem.The topic of this master thesis is the analysis of Spanish and English phraseologisms related to a religious stereotype. It is focused mostly on the presence of the dichotomy God-devil, heaven-hell and on the examination of the biblical figures. The theoretical part is dedicated to the cognitive linguistics, phraseology and the influence of culture over phraseologisms. As for the approach, the cognitive linguistics forms the base of the work being constructed on the cognitive principles. Phraseology then contains the description of the phraseological unit examination and classification which is crucial for the scientific discipline understanding. Furthermore, the cultural influence over phraseologisms is demonstrated on the ethnolinguistics and the phenomenon called "culturema". Within the practical part, on the basis from the theoretical part, the analysis is built concentrating on the particular English and Spanish phraseologisms collected from the phraseological dictionaries. The data are classified into the semantic groups and compared within the groups themselves as well as each other.
