Tato případová studie si klade za cíl zjistit, na jakém principu funguje zdvořilost v textech příspěvků diskusních fór. Tento cíl byl realizován na pozadí teorie zdvořilosti Penelope Brownové a Stephena C. Levinsona, která tedy slouží do jisté míry také jako návod, jelikož její termíny jako tvář, pozitivní či negativní zdvořilost a FTA jsou hlavními body sledovanými a následně i hodnocenými v textech zkoumaných příspěvků. Naopak jejich koncept racionality zkoumán nebyl. Práce tedy vyhodnocuje, jak zkoumané diskuse vypadají respektive které jevy či kombinace těchto jevů jsou frekventovanými popřípadě zřídkavými či zcela chybí a proč.This case study aims to investigate the principles of politeness in the texts of contributions to the Internet discussions. The goal of the work is realized on the background of the theory of politeness written by Penelope Brown and Stephen C. Levinson which serves to some extent also as a guide because its terms like face, positive or negative politeness and FTA are the main points studied and then also evaluated in the texts of examined contributions excepting the rationality which was not examined. The work appraises the character of researched discussions or as the case may be which phenomenons or combinations of these phenomenons are frequent, rare or completely missing and why.
