Diplomová práce předkládá ucelený přehled o mariologii a projevech mariánského kultu v nejstarším českém teologickém periodiku Časopisu katolického duchovenstva v období let 18281949. Přibližuje nejvýznamnější mariologické studie a pojednání podle témat jako např. studie o neposkvrněném početí Panny Marie, o jejím panenství, smrti, nanebevzetí apod. Značná část práce mapuje tematicky širokou oblast příspěvků, které se týkají mariánské úcty a mariánské spirituality.The thesis Mariology according to the periodical "Časopis katolického duchovenstva from 1828 to 1949" provides an overview of mariology contribution of the oldest czech theological periodical in its entire existence. The first chapter deals with the foundation and the development of the first czech periodical for a clergy. There is an occasion become acquainted with the important personalities who have contributed to the publication and the quality of this periodical. At the same time it offers a view of various historical context, which influenced the publication of the periodical. In the following part there are the most important mariology studies and treatises in the periodical. After a brief overview there are contributions divided into topics. The topics include the most extensive studies about Immaculate Conception, virginity of Mary, her death, Assumption, also her mediation and the participation in Christ's glory. The third part tries to capture wide range of Marian devotion and Marian spirituality. These topics are scattered into many different articles and notifications. Therefore are categorized into many sections: Marian devotion in prayer and liturgy, Marian homillies, mentiones of the growing interest in places of pilgrimage, revelations and miraculous healings. This part also provides an overview about of the important publications including theme of Marian devotion and Marian spirituality, which are presented in these periodicals. The periodical also contributed to creating a space for a public theological discussion and also to a reflection on mission Virgin Mary in our salvation history. This thesis offers the testimony of the periodical in a systematic review on the progressive development Mariology as a celebration of God through the character and mission of the Mother of our Savior.
