Tato diplomová práce se věnuje poruchám autistického spektra a jejich vlivu na život sourozenců takto postižených lidí. V teoretické části se hovoří o rodině, o jejích funkcích a vývoji, dále tu najdeme základní poznatky o jednotlivých poruchách autistického spektra včetně srovnání pohledů na autismus v minulosti a v současnosti. Třetí kapitola popisuje různá specifika rodiny vychovávající dítě s autismem a přibližuje prostředí, ve kterém vyrůstá zdravé dítě vedle mentálně postiženého sourozence. V závěru teoretické části se věnujeme sourozeneckému vztahu a dalším aspektům života dítěte s postiženým bratrem nebo sestrou. Cílem výzkumné části této práce je poukázat na různé aspekty života sourozence člověka s autismem. Za tímto účelem jsme vedli rozhovory s dvanácti respondenty ve věku od 16 do 25 let. Dotazy byly směřovány na subjektivní vnímání vlastní pozice v rodině a chování rodičů k respondentovi ve srovnání s chováním k dítěti s autismem, dále na pozitivní a negativní vlivy bratrova nebo sestřina postižení na sourozencův život, na očekávání od budoucnosti a na zkušenost s psychologickou pomocí nebo podporou rodiny. Tyto případové studie byly zpracovány kvalitativní obsahovou analýzou.This thesis is focused on the subject of the autism spectrum disorders and its impact on the lifes of siblings of people affected with such disorder. In the theoretical section the thesis focuses on the family, its function and development. Further it contains fundamental knowledge on the various autism spectrum disorders, including comparison of general views on autism in the past and at present. The third chapter describes the various specifics of families raising a child with autism and it explains the kind of environment in which a healthy child grows up next to a mentally handicapped sibling. In conclusion, the theoretical part is devoted to the relationship between siblings and to other aspects of a child's life with a disabled brother or sister. The research part of this thesis is to highlight the various aspects of the life of people who have sibling with autism. For this purpose, we have conducted interviews with twelve respondents age 16 to 25 years. The questions were aimed to receive subjective perception of their position in the family and to discover his or her views on the parental behavior towards the respondent compared with the behavior towards a child with autism, as well as the positive and negative influences of his brother's or sister's disability on sibling's life, the expectations from the future and their experience with psychological help or family support. These case studies were prepared using qualitative content analysis.
