Přehledová bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou Alzheimerovy demence (AD). Předkládá přehled publikovaných poznatků o screeningu AD v České republice (ČR), specifické ošetřovatelské péči a možnostech nefarmakologické terapie u pacientů s AD. Poznatky byly dohledány v  recenzovaných plnotextech odborných amerických, evropských a asijských periodik; v českých a slovenských recenzovaných článcích odborných periodik; v českých a slovenských sbornících z odborných konferencí a v českých odborných periodikách.The overview bachelor thesis analyzes aspects of Alzheimer´s Disease (AD). The paper presents an overall picture of published findings on screening for AD in the Czech Republic, specific nursing care, and the possibilities of non-pharmaceutical therapy for patients afflicted with AD. The findings were accessed in the peer reviewed primary texts of American, European and Asian scientific journals; in Czech and Slovak peer reviewed articles in scientific journals; and in the proceedings from Czech and Slovak professional conferences and Czech scientific journals.
