Práce se zabývá životními cykly jepic čeledi Baetidae od vajíčka přes larvu a subimago až po dospělce. Pozornost je zaměřena hlavně na působení enviromentálních faktorů na životní cykly vybraných druhů jepic. Za nejdůležitější činitele jsou považovány: teplota, fotoperiodicita a dostupná potrava. Dále se za významné považují působení pH a toxických látek, biologický drift a predace. Tyto faktory ovlivňují zejména počet generací za rok, což se může lišit u jednotlivých druhů na různých stanovištích. Část práce je věnována působení dlouhodobých klimatických změn na životní cykly akvatického hmyzu.The work deals with the life cycles of mayflies of the family Baetidae from egg through larva and subimago to adult. Attention is focused mainly on the effect of environmental factors on life cycles of selected species of mayflies. The most important factors are considered: temperature, photoperiods and food available. Also be important effect of pH and toxic substances, biological drift and predation. These factors influence the particular number of generations per year, witch may be diferent betwen species on diferent habitats. Part of the work is dedicated to the long term effects of climate change on the aquatic insects life cycles.
