Tato diplomová práce se soustřeďuje na celovečerní tvorbu gruzínského režiséra Alexandra Rechviašviliho. Analyzovaná část tvorby se zaměřuje na období 70.- 80. let, konkrétně na filmy Gruzínská kronika XIX. století (1979), Cesta domů (1981) a Stupeň (1986). Cílem práce je představit Alexandra Rechviašviliho a jeho tvorbu i v českém kontextu, kde byl doteď spíše neznámý. Teoreticky práce vychází z metody neoformalistické analýzy, jak ji představil David Bordwell a Kristin Thompsonová. Práce se zaměřuje na vybrané prvky analýzy filmového stylu. Zmíněn je i kontext sovětské a gruzínské kinematografie daného období.This thesis presents the directors figure of georgian director Aleqsandre Rekhviashvili and his full-lenght production in ranging period from seventies to the eighties. The films are as follows: The 19th century georgian chronicle (1979), The Way home (1981) and The Step (1986). The analyses is mainly stylistic, less narrational and historical. The aim of presented thesis is to aproximate the themes and motifs, which are being constant present in production of the artist. This thesis comes to a conclusion that Aleqsandre Rekhviashvili is very rare director, who uses his specific style, which consist of slow, but constant move of camera, long shots and specific way of acting.
