Práce je orientována na historické souvislosti, reprezentované v jednotlivých filmech, a jejich komparaci s odbornou historickou literaturou, čehož je dosahováno prostřednictvím odborné studie Roberta A. Rosenstonea. Platformou studia beethovenovské historie je vymezení pojmu "stereotyp", jehož principy se úzce pojí s reprezentací Beethovena na filmovém plátně.On the example of three films about Ludwig van Beethoven - Immortal Beloved, Copying Beethoven, Eroica - is depicted a popular image of him in the films. Thesis is oriented on historical relations represented in these films and their comparision with scholarly historical literature which is accomplished through scholarly study of Robert A. Rosenstone. The platform of studying beethovenian history is the definition of a term "stereotype" whose prin-ciples are closely associated with the representation of Beethoven on the movie screen.
