První přijetí eucharistie, kterému v našich podmínkách předchází svátost smíření, uvádí pokřtěného do plného života s Kristem ve společenství církve. Práce se zaměřuje na úlohu křesťanských rodičů v procesu přípravy dítěte na přijetí obou svátostí. První část přibližuje postavení křesťanské rodiny v současném světě. Druhá část zkoumá dítě v mladším školním věku z pohledu pedagogiky a psychologie. Třetí část se zabývá vzdálenou přípravou na přijetí obou svátostí i jednotlivými kroky bezprostřední přípravy. Zvažuje význam náboženské výchovy v rodině pro růst víry dítěte i důležitost zapojení křesťanské rodiny do života farního společenství.The first reception of Eucharist, in our conditions preceded by the Sacrament of Reconciliation, brings the christened into the full life with Christ in the community of the Church. The work is focused on the role of the Christian parents in the process of the preparation for reception of both the Sacraments. The first part provides an insight into the position of the Christian family in contemporary world. In the second part, a school-age child is examined from the point of view of pedagogy and psychology. The third part deals with the distant preparation for the reception of both the Sacraments as well as the particular stages of the immediate preparation. The importance of the religious upbringing in the family for the growth of the child's faith his considered together with the importance of the engagement of the Christian family in the life of the parish community.
