Diplomová práce se zabývá rolí pečovatele v procesu výcviku vodicího psa. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na vymezení zrakového postižení a popis prostorové orientace a samostatného pohybu zrakově postižených. Dále se teoretická část zaměřuje na vodicího psa, jeho historii, výcvik, legislativu a organizace v ČR s ním spojené. Závěr teoretické části je věnován osobnosti pečovatele. Praktická část zahrnuje kvantitativní výzkum formou dotazníků. Cílem tohoto výzkumu je zmapovat pohled pečovatelů a cvičitelů vodicích psů na roli pečovatele v procesu výcviku vodicího psa.This thesis deals with the role of caretaker in the process of training a guide dog. The theoretical part focused on definition of visual impairment and description of spatial orientation and self-contained movement of visually impaired. The theoretical part also deals with a guide dog, its history, training, legislation and organizations connected with it. Conclusion of the theoretical part deals with a personality of caretaker. The practical part includes a quantitative research using questionnaires. The main goal of this research is discover a view of caretakers and trainers of the role of caretaker in the process of training a guide dog.
