Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku společenských aktivit dospělých osob s mentálním postižením využívajících služeb pobytových a ambulantních zařízení sociální péče v Olomouckém kraji. Na společenské aktivity je v práci pohlíženo jako na jednu z oblastí celoživotního učení, kterou je nezbytné u jedinců s rozumovým hendikepem podporovat a rozvíjet. V teoretické části jsou blíže definovány pojmy mentální retardace a mentální postižení; dále seznamuje čtenáře s edukačním systémem formálního vzdělávání, s termínem celoživotní učení, jeho formami a druhy, a s rovinami, na kterých se může uplatňovat. V posledních kapitolách teoretické části je pozornost věnována pojmům volný čas a společenské aktivity; následuje zamyšlení nad podstatou terapií, a zda je lze řadit mezi společenské aktivity. Praktická část je založena na výzkumném šetření, které využilo metody nestandardizovaného dotazníku. Dotazníky byly určeny sociálním pracovnicím, vedoucím úseků volnočasových a aktivizačních činností, příp. vedoucím zařízení. Výsledné údaje byly zpracovány do tabulek a grafů, následně byly doplněny slovním komentářem. Cílem bylo zjistit, jakých společenských aktivit se účastní dospělé osoby s mentálním postižením v ambulantních a pobytových zařízeních Olomouckého kraje, a zda existují rozdíly v nabídce společenských aktivit mezi jednotlivými typy zařízení (pobytová x ambulantní).Diploma thesis is aimed at problems of social activities of people with mental disabilities that use long stay and ambulatory social care facilities in Olomouc region. Social activities are regarded as one of the areas of lifelong learning, which is essential to promote and develop especially for individuals with intellectual disabilities. In the theoretical part the terms like mental retardation and mental disabilities are explained; the reader is informed about the educational system of formal education, with the lifelong education and its forms and kinds and the areas where it may be used. In the last chapters of the theoretical part, terms like free time and social activities are described. Therapy is also mentioned and the question of its placement into social activities is considered. Practical part is based on the research which used a non-standardized questionnaire. It was intended for social workers, heads of the leisure and motivational activities or their managers. The resulting data were processed into tables and graphs and supplemented by verbal commentary. The aim of the questionnaire was to determine in which social activities are adults with mental disabilities in long stay and ambulatory social care facilities in Olomouc region involved and whether there are differences in offers of social activities between these facilities (long stay x ambulatory).
