Diplomová práce se zabývá historickým vývojem i současným stavem prostorové struktury města Vsetín. Na počátku práce jsou uvedeny teoretické základy prostorové struktury města a dále je zmíněna geografická charakteristika území. Významnou částí je historický vývoj prostorové struktury Vsetína s ohledem na postavení města v minulosti. Práce zahrnuje analýzu aktuálního stavu domovní, demografické a ekonomické struktury města. Součástí práce jsou také rozhovory s představiteli města.The diploma thesis deals with the development and the current status of the area structure of the city Vsetín. In the introduction there is theoretical basics of the area structure and the geographical characteristics of the area. The important part of the thesis is the historical development of the area structure in Vsetín due to its history. The thesis includes analysis of the housing and object estates, demografic and economic structure. The thesis contains also interviews with the city representatives.
