Cílem této diplomové práce je analýza a srovnání vybraných novel současného španělského prozaika Artura Pérez-Reverteho. Po stručném představení autora následuje výběr románů, který se řídí předem stanovenými kritérii. Důkladně analyzovány budou dva romány (La piel del tambor, La carta esférica). Značná pozornost se soustředí především na problematické určení žánru, dále na analýzu postav, ztvárnění prostoru a intertextualitu. Každou analýzu uzavírá hodnocení díla. Následují krátké komentáře dvou dalších románů (La tabla de Flandes, El club Dumas), které přechází ve srovnání všech čtyř románů. Práci uzavírá hodnocení vývoje modelu, který je vysledovatelný ve vybraných analyzovaných dílech.The aim of this thesis is the analysis and the comparison of the selected novels of Arturo Pérez-Reverte who is the contemporary Spanish prose writer. The selection of the novels is based on criteria previously determined and comes after the short presentation of the author. Two novels will be analysed in detail (La piel del tambor, La carta esférica). The significant attention is concentrated especially on the problematic determination of the genre, analisis of the figures, the description of the locality and the intertextuality. The evaluation of the novel concludes every analisis. The short comments of two other novels (La tabla de Flandes, El club Dumas) follow and pass to the comparison of all novels. The thesis is closed by the evaluation of the model which is possible to notice in the analised opuses.
