Výzkum byl realizován za účelem zjištění potenciálních korelací mezi škálami dvou dotazníků. DAP-R (Death Attitude Profile ? Revised) měří pět dimenzí postojů ke smrti ? dvě pozitivní (Přijetí a Únikové přijetí smrti), dvě negativní (Strach ze smrti a Vyhýbavý postoj ke smrti) a jednu neutrální (Neutrální postoj). ZTPI (Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory) zjišťuje orientaci na pět časových perspektiv ? Negativní a Pozitivní minulost, Hédonostickou a Fatalistickou přítomnost a Budoucnost. Šetření bylo provedeno na souboru 285 respondentů (201 žen a 84 mužů) ve věku 18-35 let, získaných lavinovým výběrem. Korelační analýza prokázala signifikantní pozitivní korelace mezi škálami Strach ze smrti a Negativní minulost, Únikové přijetí smrti a Fatalistická přítomnost a nepředpokládaně také mezi škálami Únikové přijetí smrti a Negativní minulost, Přijetí smrti a Pozitivní minulost. Škála orientace na Budoucnost a orientace na Hédonistickou přítomnost nevykazovala žádné signifikantní korelace se škálami DAP-R. T-testem byl prokázán největší signifikantní rozdíl mezi muži a ženami na škále Budoucnost ? ženy skórovaly výše.The study was carried out in a purpose of detection of potencial correlations between scales of two questionnaires. The DAP-R (Death Attitude Profile ? Revised) measures five dimensions of attitudes toward death ? two positive (Approach Acceptance and Escape Acceptance of Death), two negative (Fear of Death and Death Avoidance) and one neutral (Neutral Acceptance of Death). The ZTPI (Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory) measures five time perspectives ? Past Negative and Past Positive, Present Hedonistic and Present Fatalistic and Future. The survey was performed with the sample of 285 respondents (201 women and 84 men) aged 18-35 years, found by the snowball sampling. Correlation analysis showed significant positive correlation between the scales ? Fear of Death and Past Negative, Escape Acceptance and Present Fatalistic and also unexpectedly between scales Escape Acceptance and Past Negative, Approach Acceptance and Past Positive. Two scales ? Future and Present Hedonistic did not show any significant correlations with DAP-R scales. T-test proved the highest significant difference between men and women on the Future scale ? women scored higher.
