Obsahem této práce je analýza živých vstupů v Událostech České televize a Televizních novinách televize Nova. Jejím cílem je zjistit, zda a jak se měnilo využívání živých vstupů během roku 2012. Analýza sleduje nejen měnící se počet živých vstupů, ale i typy živých vstupů, které jsou používány, místo, odkud je živý vstup vysílán a také redaktora, který živý vstup vede. Analytická část představuje data získaná formou kvantitativní analýzy a porovnává vybrané jevy v obou televizích. Prostřednictvím analýzy je ověřována i platnost některých mediálních teorií.The focus of this thesis is to analyze the live entries in Události ČT and Televizní noviny on televize Nova. The aim is to discover whether the usage of the live entries differs within the year 2012. Analysis observes not only the changing count of the live entries but also their types, the location from which they are broadcasted and also the reporter who features in them. The analytical part presents the data which were acquired by the quantitative analysis and by comparing the observed aspects in both of the televisions. Using the analysis some media theories validities are verified.
