Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce bylo porovnat dvě varianty mediální konstrukce každodenní reality v socialistickém Československu. Dva vybrané seriály reprezentují dobovou variantu (Žena za pultem) a retro variantu (Vyprávěj; období 1975?80). Cílem práce bylo popsat a interpretovat společné i unikátní charakteristiky pořadů a vyhodnotit tak povahu a vztah mezi dobovým a retro hlediskem na konkrétní historické období. Práce vycházela v zásadě z principů textuální analýzy. Řešila v zásadě dvě otázky, první z nich byla dekompozice textu na jednotlivé aspekty, které vytvářejí každodenní realitu, a druhá byla jejich komparace jednak z pohledu konstrukce reality v době svého vzniku a jednak z pohledu vnímání dnešním pozorovatelem. Za kategorie participující na mediální konstrukci každodennosti byly považovány např. vizuální prvky (oblékání, design), behaviorální aspekty (veřejná angažovanost postav, hodnotové systémy) atd. Výsledkem je přispět ke zkoumání televizní tvorby a ke způsobu, jakým se podílí na reprezentaci reality v období, které je chápáno jako ležící na rozhraní historie a současnosti.The main objective of the bachelor thesis was to compare two versions of media construction of the everyday reality in the socialist Czechoslovakia. Two chosen serials represent an example of a period program (The Woman behind Counter) and of a retro one (Tell, me, period 1975?80). The objective of the thesis is to describe and to interpret common and unique characteristics of both programs and to evaluate the character and relationship between the period and retro point of view of the concrete historical period. The thesis is based on the principles of textual analysis. It intended to find answers to two principal questions. The first one was the decomposition of the text into individual aspects that created the everydayness, the other one was its comparison both from the point of view how this reality was constructed and how it is perceived by the today?s spectator. Visual elements (outfit, design), behavioral aspects (public engagement, systems of values) were employed as categories participating in the media construction of everydayness. The intended achievement is to contribute to television studies and to the way how the television production participates at the representation of reality in the period which is understood as being on the edge of history and contemporaneousness.
