Tato práce se zabývá reakcemi na vypuknutí První světové války v německy psaných periodikách. Podrobně zkoumá reakce v olomouckém periodiku 'Mährisches Tagblatt', které jsou srovnány s obecnými reakcemi v centrech Rakouska-Uherska a Německé říše. Práce se zaměřuje na časový interval od atentátu na následníka trůnu Františka Ferdinanda d?Este a následné tři měsíce po této události. Jako stěžejní aspekt byly vybrány články, které se zabývají společenským vnímáním války, jejího vlivu na olomouckou společnost a otázkou patriotismu v rámci rozlišných národností v Rakousku-Uhersku. Z analýzy těchto článku byl sestaven obraz, který nezobrazuje pouze postavení olomouckého tisku k tomuto válečnému konfliktu, ale i nazírání na českou národnost a jejího vlasteneckého postoje k Monarchii.This bachelor thesis is concerned with the reactions of the German-language journals to the outbreak of the First World War. It inspects in a great detail reactions in periodical from Olomouc, called ?Mährisches Tagblatt?, which are compared to general reactions in centers of the Habsburg Monarchy and the German Empire. The work focuses on the time period since the assassination of the successor to the throne Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria and the subsequent three months after this event. As a key aspect have been selected the articles, which deal with the social perception of the war, its influence on society and the question of patriotism in Olomouc among the different nationalities of Austria-Hungary. An image created from the analysis of these articles does not show only the position of the Olomouc print to the conflict, but also the look on the Czech nationality and its patriotic attitudes to the monarchy.
