Práce se zabývá možnostmi v oblasti pobytu cizinců na území České republiky. Text je rozdělen do dvou částí, přičemž první oddíl je zaměřen na kontext historických událostí, které ovlivnily vývoj imigrace a migrační politiky na území České republiky. Druhá část se již zabývá rozdělením cizinců a pobytů, které stanovuje česká legislativa. Popsán je také zásadní vliv Evropské unie, především tedy vznik schengenského prostoru, který měl dopad na tvorbu našeho cizineckého zákona. U jednotlivých druhů pobytů jsou pak uvedeny podmínky, které musí daný migrant splnit, aby jeho přítomnost v České republice byla legálníThis thesis analyzes possibilities of foreigners staying in the Czech Republic. The text is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on the context of historical events, that influenced the development of the immigration a migration politics in the Czech Republic. The second part analyzes the division of foreigners and stayings, which the czech legislation lays down. The fundamental influence of the European Union i salso described, mainly the origin of schengen?s space, which has an impact to the formation of our foreigner?s law. There are mentioned conditions, that the given immigrant has to comply with particular sort of stay, so that his staying in the Czech Republic was legal.
