Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou hospitalizace seniorů. Konkrétně sleduje vliv hospitalizace na exekutivní funkce, kognitivní funkce a emotivitu u seniorů. Výzkumné šetření probíhalo na oddělení Geriatrie a LDN. Do šetření bylo zahrnuto 30 osob. Bakalářská práce je rozdělená na dvě části. V teoretické části se zabýváme pojmy jako je stáří, geriatrie, gerontologie, zabýváme se teorií depresí, kognitivními funkcemi a funkcemi exekutivními. Ve výzkumné části se zabýváme vlivem hospitalizace na exekutivní, kognitivní funkce a emotivitu u seniorů. K tomuto účelu byli senioři otestování v období při příjmu a po čtrnácti dnech hospitalizace. K hodnocení exekutivních funkcí byl použit Test Hanojské věže, k posouzení kognitivních funkcí MMSE a k hodnocení emotivity byla využita Škále deprese pro geriatrické pacienty. Pomocí statistických metod byly vyhodnoceny výsledky těchto testů. Na základě jejich hodnocení můžeme říci, že hospitalizace má negativní vliv na exekutivní funkce, kognitivní funkce i emotivitu u seniorů.This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of hospitalization of seniors. Specifically, it monitors the influence of hospitalization on cognitive functions, executive functions and on emotionality in the elderly. The research took place in a geriatrics ward and in a ward of long term care. The survey included 30 persons. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part we deal with concepts such as age, geriatrics, gerontology and we also deal with the theory of depression, cognitive functions and executive functions. In the research part we deal with influence of the hospitalization on executive and cognitive functions and on emotionality in the elderly. For this purpose, seniors were tested during admission and then after two weeks of hospitalization. To assess the executive functions the Tower of Hanoi Test was used; to assess the cognitive functions the MMSE was used and to assess emotionality the Scale of Depression for Geriatric Patients was used. The results of these tests were evaluated by using statistical methods. By assessing the results, we can say that hospitalization has a negative effect on executive and cognitive functions and on emotionality in the elderly.
