Tato práce má za cíl vymezit roli probačního úředníka a asistenta se zaměřením na vykonávání probačních činností. Teoretická část se bude zabývat definováním základních pojmů, jako je role, restorativní justice, Probační a mediační služba ČR, její cíle a činnosti. Dále se zaměříme na činnosti, práva a povinnosti úředníků a asistentů PMS. Také definujeme probaci a probační činnosti v přípravném a vykonávacím řízení. Empirická část se bude věnovat hlubšímu pochopení role probačního pracovníka a bude mít za cíl zjistit, jak vnímají probační pracovníci svoji roli v rámci vykonávání probačních činností.The aim of this work is to define the role of the probation officer and the assistant with the focus on the practice of the probation actions. The theoretic part will deal with the definition of the basic notions, such as the role, restorative justice, the Probation and mediation service of the Czech Republic, her aims and activities. Next we will deal with the activities, discretions and duties of the officers and assistants of the PMS. We also define the probation and the probation activities in the preparative and execution procedure. The empirical part will focus on the deeper understanding of the role of the probation officer and its aim is to learn how the probation workers perceive their roles in terms of the pursuance of the probation activities.
