Tématem práce je výzkum osobnostních charakteristik tunerů aut. Teoretická část je věnována problematice auto tuningu, historii tuningu, popisu základních typů tuningu a vylepšení vozidla, tuning srazům a soutěžím či prezentaci auto tuningu v médiích a reklamě. Ve snaze o komplexní uchopení tématu se zabývám otázkou tuningu v souvislosti se Zákonem o silničním provozu. Hlavním výzkumným cílem je zmapovat osobnost tunerů automobilů a jejich životní styl. Dalším cílem je srovnání osobnostních charakteristik tunerů s normou. V rámci výzkumu byl použit tematický dotazník vlastní konstrukce a NEO-PI-R osobnostní inventář. Cílovou skupinou šetření byli tuneři aut ve věku od 18 let. Bylo zjištěno, že tuneři aut se na čtyřech škálách osobnostního inventáře NEO-PI-R signifikantně liší od normy. Dále pak bylo zjištěno, že skupiny tunerů, rozdělené podle různých demografických či popisných dat, se od sebe v osobnostních charakteristikách signifikantně neliší.Diploma thesis is the research of personal characteristics of the car tuners. The teoretical part is concentrated on car tuning issues, car tuning history, characterization of the basic car tuning and improvements types, car tuning meetings and competitions or the presenting car tuning in commercial and agent. In pursuit of complex grasp of the theme I look into the question of connection car tuning and the road operation law. The main research goal is to chart the car tuner personality and his life style. Another goal is to compare the personal characteristics of car tuners with the norm. For the research there was used the thematic questionary of one´s own construction and NEO-PI-R personality inventory. The target group were the car tuners in the age of 18 years. It was found out, that the car tuners significant variate out of norm on four scales. More there was found out, that the groups of car tuners sorted by different demographic or descriptioning data don´t significant variate.
