Diplomová bakalářská práce se zabývá fenoménem zážitků sdílené smrti (Shared death experiences = SDE). Zážitky sdílené smrti patří podobně jako zážitky blízké smrti do kategorie mimořádných prožitků spojených se smrtí a umíráním. Práce hledá odpověď na otázku, jakým způsobem lidé SDE prožívají. Teoretická část obsahuje informace o historii změněných stavů vědomí spojených se smrtí a umíráním napříč světovými kulturami, popis jevu SDE a srovnání s dalšími typy fenoménů mimořádných prožitků spojených se smrtí a umíráním, především zážitků blízké smrti (NDE) a vizí na úmrtním loži (death bed visions). V teoretické části nalezneme rovněž informace o důsledcích SDE pro prožívající, dosavadní teorie vysvětlující tento jev a současný výzkum této oblasti. Empirická část práce se zaměřuje na fenomenologický výzkum zážitků sdílené smrti, s důrazem na prožitky a důsledek zážitku. Použitými metodami získávání dat jsou polostrukturované dotazníky a zejména polostrukturovaná interviewThe bachelor thesis deals with the phenomena of shared death experiences (SDE). Shared death experiences belong into category of extraordinary experiences associated with death and dying, like the near death experiences (NDE). It looks into the question how people percieve shared death experiences. The theoretical part contains information about the history of altered states of consciousness associated with death and dying across the world's cultures, the description of the phenomenon SDE and comparison with other types of phenomena of extraordinary experiences associated with death and dying, such as near death experiences(NDE) and death bed visions. The theoretical part also find information on the consequences for SDE experiencing, the current theory explaining this phenomenon, and current research in this area. The empirical part of the thesis focuses on phenomenological research of shared death experiences, with an emphasis on experience and effect experience. The methods used to obtain the data are mainly semi-structured questionnaires and semi-structured interviews
