Diplomová práce vychází z poznatků získaných při zpracování bakalářské práce Fyzickogeografické poměry území města Bystřice pod Hostýnem. Na základě provedené analýzy regionální atlasové tvorby v předkládané práci a sestavení kartografického projektu pro katastrální území města Bystřice pod Hostýnem, vznikl návrh Atlasu fyzickogeografických poměrů území města Bystřice pod Hostýnem. V podobě mapových výstupů i nemapových prvků podává návrh tematického atlasu komplexní informace o přírodních podmínkách na území města. Svým zpracováním je určen širokému okruhu uživatelů, přičemž pozornost byla věnována i koncepční a vizuální stránce kartografického díla.The diploma thesis is based on the piece of knowledge of the bachelor thesis Physical-geographical characteristics of an area of Bystřice pod Hostýnem. The suggestion of the Atlas physical-geographical conditions of an area of the town Bystřice pod Hostýnem was based on an analysis of a regional atlas publication in this diploma thesis and on compilation of cartographic project for a cadastral area of the town Bystřice pod Hostýnem. In terms of maps? elements and other compositional elements (which are not maps), a suggestion of the thematic atlas gives comprehensive information about natural conditions of an area of the town. A great attention of this thesis was dedicated to a visual and conceptual aspect of the cartographical work, because this atlas will belong to a wide range of users.
