Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou postavení seniorů v soudobé společnosti. Cílem diplomové práce bylo zjistit názory a postoje osob seniorského věku ve vztahu k vnímání vlastního sebeobrazu v kontextu současné společnosti. Teoretická část práce popisuje základní pojmy spojené se stárnutím, involuční změny ve stáří, vývoj přístupu k seniorům, změny v životním stylu a kvalitě života seniorů. Praktická část zjišťuje s využitím metody dotazníku názory a postoje osob seniorského věku ve vztahu k vnímání vlastního sebeobrazu. Dotazník zjišťuje spokojenost seniorů v oblasti zdraví, finanční situace, oblasti volného času, manželství a partnerství, v oblasti vztahů k vlastním dětem a vnoučatům, vlastní osobě, přátelům, známým a příbuzným.This master thesis deals with the status of senior citizens in current society. The aim of this thesis was to determine the opinions and attitudes of senior citizens in relation to the perception of self-image in the context of current society. The theoretical part describes the basic terms associated with aging, involutional changes, development of the approaches to senior citizens, changes in lifestyle and quality of life of the senior citizens. The practical part uses the questionnaire method to research the opinions and attitudes of senior citizens in relation to the perception of their own self-image. The questionnaire examines the satisfaction of senior citizens with their health, financial situation, leisure time, marriage and partnership, relationship with their children and grandchildren, relatives, their friends and acquaintances, and relationship to themselves.
