Cílem této práce je popis ruské architektury, resp. nejdůležitějších staveb postavených Rusy ve městě Charbin, které se nachází v provincii Heilongjiang na severovýchodě Číny. Tyto stavby začaly vznikat již na konci 19. století jako důsledek stavby Východočínské železnice. Práce sleduje nejen budovy samotné, ale i jejich vymezení v rámci prostředí Charbinu, okolnosti jejich vzniku a jejich percepci i využití současnými Číňany. Kapitoly týkající se přímo staveb jsou rozděleny tematicky, přičemž se zohledňuje jejich primární využití, které bylo determinováno především vlastnickým subjektem. Součástí této práce jsou i mapy, ilustrace a fotografie znázorňující ruské stavby v Charbinu dnes.The aim of my bachelor thesis is to describe the value of Russian architecture and its buildings in the city of Harbin, which were planned or built up at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. The main purpose is to emphasize the role of this architecture in contemporary Chinese society, which is presented in the introduction of some basic facts about the russian style buildings and their architecture and giving examples of them. These examples are divided into a few thematics, mainly depending on their function or the ownership structure. The art history perspective is also pointed out, being the causation of the work´s polymathy.
