Práce se zabývá recepcí středověkého díla Der arme Heinrich básníka Hartmanna von Aue v porovnání se stejnojmenným dramatem Gerharta Hauptmanna, současným dramatem Die Legende vom armen Heinrich dramatika a spisovatele Tankreda Dorsta a s románem Bis bald švýcarského autora Markuse Wernera. Cílem práce je najít podobnosti a rozdíly mezi těmito díly. Hlavní část práce je věnována obsahovému a formálnímu (styl, jazyk) rozboru děl, přičemž se jedná především o interpretaci lepry a srdeční zástavy jako trestu, analýzu motivů dobrovolného obětování se a projevy potlačené sexuality.The thesis deals with the medieval narrative poem Der arme Heinrich written by Hartmann von Aue and its reception in: the neo-romantic drama Der arme Heinrich. Eine deutsche Sage by Gerhart Hauptmann; in the contemporary drama Die Legende vom armen Heinrich by Tankred Dorst; and in the novel Bis bald by the Swiss author Markus Werner. The aim of this thesis is to find possible differences between these works and to show to what extent the story of a noble knight who has been stricken with leprosy was altered in each adaptation. This work concentrates both on their formal (genre, language, style, narrative patterns) and content analysis. The interpretation of the content is focused mainly on the questions of guilt and voluntary sacrifice. Furthermore the recurrent leprosy motive, with its symbolic meaning (that has been construed as punishment), and the problem of heart transplantation are explored.
