Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem fungování Chráněného bydlení sv. Michaela v Brně a problematice mentálně znevýhodněných osob. Blíže popisuje pojem mentální retardace a některá psychotická onemocnění. Práce se také věnuje roli osobních asistentů při práci s uživateli této služby. Cílem práce je analýza vlastního zařízení se zaměřením na kvalitu poskytovaných služeb uživatelům a zjištěním silných a slabých stránek zařízení.The bachelor thesis analyses of St. Michael sheltered housing in Brno and the problems of people with learning disabilities. The term mental retardation is described in more details as well as some mental diseases. Moreover, it describes the role of support workers and the effect of their work on service users. The aim of this work is to examine the efficiency of the organisation, particularly the quality of the social services provided to the service users, and to find any strong and weak aspects of this organisation.
