Práce pojednává o teorii civilizace v díle Shmuela Eisenstadta. Poukazuje na teoretická východiska jeho přístupu. Analyzuje pojem civilizace a civilizační analýzu v Eisenstadtově díle. V první části práce analyzuje pojem civilizace v díle Eisenstadta ? interpretuje jeho kontext a úskalí. V druhé části se práce zaměřuje na vlastní civilizační analýzu Shmuela Eisenstadta, dává ji do kontextu sociologie a interpretuje její klíčové body jakožo paradigmatu historické sociologie.The thesis analyses theory of civilisation in works of Shmuel Eisenstadt. It displays theoretical frame of his approach. It analyses the term "civilisation" and "civilisation analysis" in his works. In the first part the thesis analyses context and upcoming problems of the term "civlisation". In the second part the thesis aimes at "civilisation analysis" itself, brings it to the context of sociology and show up it key points as a paradigm of historical sociology.
