Cílem bakalářské práce je sumarizovat základní dostupné informace o řízené hypotermii u dětí po perinatální asfyxii. Práce obsahuje krátký náhled do historie, patofyziologický podklad i samotný průběh této léčby. Současně jsou nastíněna i rizika korespondující s léčbou. Hlavní část je zaměřena na bezpečnost a efektivnost terapeutické hypotermie.The aim of the bachelor?s thesis is to summarize the basic available information about controlled newborns? hypothermia after perinatal asphyxia. The thesis includes a brief preview of the history, pathophysiological data and also the progress of this therapy as such itself. The risks corresponding to the therapy are outlined simultaneously. The main theme is focused on the safety and efficacy of therapeutic hypothermia.
