Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá překladem francouzských konstrukcí prepozice + infinitiv v románu Borise Viana Pěna dní. V práci je krátce představena osobnost autora a jeho román Pěna dní. Dále jsou vyloženy základní informace o francouzštině z typologického hlediska, o francouzských verbech, infinitivu a polovětných konstrukcích. Pokusili jsme se také ozřejmit sémantické příznaky francouzských prepozic "a", "pour" a "sans" a především to, jakých funkcí nabývají ve vazbě prepozice + infinitiv, dále kdy prepozice "a" plní svou primární funkci, kdy se stává pouze gramatickou částí infinitivu a tedy můžeme hovořit o tzv. "marqueur d´infinitif". V translatologické rovině se opíráme o teorii tzv. funkční stylové ekvivalence. Praktická část diplomové práce se věnuje konkrétně vazbám prepozice s infinitivem - na příkladech z Pěny dní je doloženo, jakým způsobem lze tyto konstrukce, jež nemají v českém jazyce izomorfní protějšek, kompenzovat. Uvedené příklady jsou hodnoceny z translatologického a funkčního hlediska.The Master´s degree dissertation report deals with a translation of the French grammatical structure "preposition + infinitive" within the novel by Boris Vian Foam of the Days. The aforementioned novel as well as the personality of the author is briefly mentioned in the report. Additionally, the report provides basic information about the French language in terms of its typology, verbs, infinitive and semi-clause structures. An attempt has been made to clarify the semantic signs of the French prepositions "a", "pour" and "sans"; mainly the functions they represent in the structure "preposition + infinitive". Specifically, when the preposition "a" fulfills its primary role; i.e. becoming a mere grammatical part of the infinitive or in other words so called "marqueur d´infinitif". On translatological level the report relies on the theory of functional equivalence. The practical part of the report is dedicated to the structures of prepositions with infinitives. Using the examples from Foam of the Days documents how these structures, with no isomorphic equivalent in the Czech language, can be compensated. The stated examples are evaluated from the translatological and functional point of view.
