Táto diplomová práca spracúva pohľad na postavenie mexickej ženy prostredníctvom mexickej literatúry. Predovšetkým pracuje s dielom uznávanej mexickej spisovateĺky Rosario Castellanos, ktorá sa venovala tejto problematike. Diplomová práca sa snaží dokázať, že jej názory boli značne pokrokové na dobu, v ktorej žila. Zároveň nás práca oboznamuje s obrazmi mexickej ženy, ktoré boli vytvorené touto autorkou a ktoré sa odlišovali od tých tradičných či oficiálnych. Toto všetko konfrontuje s pohľadmi iných mexických spisovateľov.The present diploma work is working out the theme of the position of a mexican woman through the mexican literature. Above all, it works with the creation of respected mexican writer Rosario Castellanos who was interested in these issues. The diploma work tries to prove that opinions of Castellanos were considerable progressive in her time. At the same time the work familiarize us with pictures of a mexican woman which were created by Castellanos and which were different from the traditional or official. All of this is comparing with the ideas of other mexican writers
