Cílem mé bakalářské práce je na základě vybraných českých i slovenských projektů charakterizovat zkušenosti humanitárních a rozvojových aktérů na Haiti. První kapitola se věnuje fyzicko-geografické a socio-ekonomické charakteristice Haiti, kde je kladen zvláštní důraz na historii země. Tato charakteristika tvoří základ pro snazší porozumění souvislostem současných problémů na Haiti. Další kapitola se věnuje humanitární pomoci po zemětřesení v roce 2010. Nejprve jsou vysvětleny příčiny a důsledky přírodní katastrofy, následně reakce mezinárodního společenství a nakonec pak samotná humanitární pomoc poskytováná českými i slovenskými nevládními organizacemi obohacena o jejich zkušenosti. V závěrečné kapitole je poukázáno na problémy v sektoru zdravotnictví, vzdělání, zemědělství a infrastruktuře s následnou charakteristikou získaných zkušeností s implementací rozvojových projektů organizací z České a Slovenské republiky ve výše popsaných sektorech.The aim of my bachelor´s thesis is to characterize the experience of humanitarian and development aid workers through examples from Czech and Slovak projects in Haiti. The first chapter focused on the geographic and socio-economic characteristics of Haiti, with particular emphasis on history which supplies a theoretical basis for the understanding of contemporary problems in Haiti. The next chapter desribes humanitarian aid after the earthquake in 2010. Firstly there is an explanation of the causes and consequences of the natural disaster and the humanitarian aid of the international community which followed. In the end of the chapter is focused on the experience of Czech and Slovak humanitarian aid workers after the earthquake. The last chapter shows the serious problems in haitian health care, education, agriculture and infrastructure. There is a description of experience in implementing development projects in these sectors.
