Cílem práce je charakterizovat a vymezit pojem potravinová pomoc a zaměřit se na určité aspekty této formy pomoci. Práce vymezuje důležité části této problematiky, druhy potravinové pomoci, dárce a příjemce, distribuci potravinové pomoci, historii potravinové pomoci a také organizace zabývající se potravinovou pomocí. Část práce je také věnována budoucnosti potravinové pomoci a její možné transformaci.The thesis seeks to describe and define the terms "food aid" and focus on certain aspects of this form of assistance. It defines the key components of the issue, the types of food assistance, the donors and beneficiaries, the distribution of food assistance, its history as well as the organisations involved in food assistance. A part of the thesis also deals with the future of food assistance and its potential transformation.
