Diplomová práce představuje poselství Jana Pavla II. o ženě. Zvolenou metodou je analýza jeho spisů. První kapitola popisuje výchozí perspektivu papežova pohledu na ženu: pod vlivem personalistické filozofie a Kristových slov i postojů zdůrazňuje Jan Pavel II., že muž a žena mají stejnou důstojnost jako osoby. Druhá kapitola přináší jádro papežova poselství o ženě: díky své odlišnosti jsou muž a žena povolaní ke vztahu vzájemné pomoci a doplňování se. Nadvláda muže nad ženou je důsledek hříchu. Žena realizuje své ženství cestou manželství, panenství, fyzického a duchovního mateřství. Profetismus ženy poukazuje na primát lásky v životě člověka. Církev i společnost potřebují ženského génia, který spočívá v citlivosti ženy na konkrétního člověka a hodnotu života.This dissertation presents the message of John Paul II. about woman. The method of the work is analysis of his documents. The chapter 1 describes the initial perspective of Pop´s wiev on woman: the influence of personalist philosophy and Christ´s attitude and words is seen in Pop´s emphasis on the same dignity of man and woman as a person. The chapter 2 presents heart of John Paul´s message about woman: because of the difference between man and woman they are called to the relation of mutual help and complementarity. Man´s domination over the woman is the consequence of the sin. Woman realises her feminity in a way of marriage, maternity, virginity and spiritual maternity. The prophecy of the woman point to primate of love. Church and society needs genius of the woman consisting in woman´s sensitivity to human being and value of life.
