Teoretická část této práce se věnuje poruchám autistického spektra a informovanosti rodičů takto postižených dětí o možných terapiích. V první části jsou nastíněny minulé i současné přístupy odborné veřejnosti k autismu. V dalších kapitolách jsou popisovány základní typy poruch autistického spektra, jejich společné znaky i vzájemné odlišnosti. Sekce o terapiích představuje čtyři nejznámější terapeutické metody pomoci lidem s autismem, a to strukturované učení, terapii Son?Rise, terapii pevným objetím nebo různé možnosti z oblasti alternativní medicíny. Zakončení teoretické části tvoří stručný popis cesty rodičů od podezření až po stanovení diagnózy autismu a jejich možnosti získávání informací o této poruše. Cílem empirické části této bakalářské práce je prokázat nedostatečnou informovanost rodičů dětí s PAS o terapiích, a to především ze strany odborníků. Informace byly získávány rozhovory s rodiči dětí s poruchami autistického spektra, kteří byli vybráni metodou sněhové koule. Kvalitativní obsahová analýza dat byla tedy provedena z jedenácti případových studií.The theoretical part of this work is devoted to autism spectrum disorders and awareness among parents of affected children regarding possible options of therapies. The first part outlines past and current approaches of professional community to autism. The following chapters describe the basic types of autism spectrum disorders, their common features and their differences. The chapter about known therapies presents four therapeutic methods to help people with autism - structured learning, Son-Rise therapy, therapy firm hug or a variety of possibilities in the field of alternative medicine. The theoretical part is completed by a brief description of the way parents move from suspicion to diagnosis of autism and by their possibilities of obtaining information about this disorder. The aim of the empirical part of this thesis is to demonstrate a lack of awareness of parents of children with ASD on treatments, and in particular from the experts. Information were obtained by interviews with parents of children with autism spectrum disorders who were selected using the method of a snowball. Qualitative content analysis of the data was therefore carried out of the eleven case studies.
