Práce se zabývá problematikou migrace v rámci států Latinské Ameriky. V úvodu je vysvětlena definice migrace, jsou popsány její základní typy a přístup rozvojových studií k tomuto tématu. Další část této práce je zaměřena na zhodnocení trendů mezistátních migrací v Latinské Americe, charakterizuje a vymezuje hlavní migrační toky se zaměřením na příčiny migrací v této oblasti. Na základě těchto migračních procesů jsou zde pak nastíněny nejdůležitější důsledky, které mají vliv na rozvoj států v tomto regionu. Závěr této práce je věnován trendům migrační politiky a rozboru činnosti sdružení Hometown Association.This thesis is focused on international migration on the intra-regional scale in Latin America. The first chapters explain the definition of migration and define the basic terms of migration including the approach of development studies to this theme. Another part of this thesis pays attention to the analysis of intra-regional migratory trends in Latin American countries, there are characterized and defined the main migratory flows focusing on its causes. On the basis of these migratory processes I try to explain the consequences that influence a development in the states of Latin America. Finally, I devote to the trends and patterns of the migratory policy and the analysis of the activities of Hometown Associations.
