Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na porozumění metafory ?Hospodin jako zdroj živé vody?, kterou měl Izraelský národ a která je zaznamenána v textech Starého zákona. Tuto představu Izraelského národa formoval nedostatek jídla a pití při putování pouští a v Zaslíbené zemi. Aby mohl dnešní čtenář porozumět této představě, je nutná znalost podnebí a vodních podmínek v Izraeli ve starozákonní době a porovnání s aktuální situací. Proto je tomuto tématu věnovaná část práce. Další část je věnovaná konkrétním biblickým textům, které ukazují na Hospodina, jako na zdroj živé vody. Přestože je bakalářská práce nazvána ?Hospodin jako zdroj živé vody? (jedná se je o dvě místa u proroka Jeremiáše), jsou zpracovány i texty, z jejichž kontextu jasně vyplývá, že ten, kdo je zdrojem živé vody je Hospodin. Jedná se o texty: Ž 107,35-38; Ž 114,7.8; Iz 12,3; Iz 41,17-20; Iz 44,3; Iz 55,1; Ez 36,25-28; Ez 47,1-9; Za 14,8; Jr 2,13; Jr 17,13. Porozumění metafory ?Hospodin jako zdroj živé vody? by mělo přispět k prohloubení lásky k Bohu, který tím že je ?zdroj živé vody? je dárcem a posvětitelem života.The thesis is focused on comprehension of the metaphor ?Lord as a source of living water? which used to be said by the nation of Israel and which has been written down in the texts of the Old Testament. This image of the nation of Israel was formed by food and drink shortage during their peregrination through the desert and in the Promised Land. There is necessary familiarity with climate and water conditions in Israel in the days of the Old Testament and comparison with the current situation for a contemporary reader to understand this image. On that account a part of the thesis deals with this topic. Another part is concentrated on particular biblical texts which point at Lord as a source of living water. Although the thesis is called ?Lord as a source of living water? (two passages, the prophet Jeremiah), there are also compiled the texts where is clearly comprehensible that the source of living water is Lord. The texts are following: Psalm 107,35-38; Psalm 114,7.8; Iz 12,3; Isaiah 41,17-20; Isaiah 44,3; Isaiah 55,1; Ezekiel 36,25-28; Ezekiel 47,1-9; Zachary 14,8; Jeremiah 2,13; Jeremiah 17,13. The comprehension of the metaphor ?Lord as a source of living water? should contribute to deepening love for God who is not only ?a source of living water? but he also gives us our lives and blesses them.
