Revidovaný profil postojů ke smrti (The Death Attitude Profile-Revised) je dotazníková metoda, která měří pět dimenzí postojů ke smrti. Dvě škály zjišťují negativní postoje ke smrti (strach ze smrti a vyhýbavý postoj ke smrti), dvě škály měří pozitivní postoje ke smrti (přátelské přijetí smrti, únikové přijetí smrti) a jedna škála měří neutrální přijetí faktu smrti. Šetření realizované na skupině 330 respondentů (183 žen, 147 mužů) ve věku 18 až 88 let prokázalo reliabilitu české verze této metody. Regresní analýza získaných dat prokázala vliv náboženského přesvědčení u tří z pěti sledovaných dimenzí (strach ze smrti, vyhýbání se smrti a přátelské přijetí smrti). U škály ?strach ze smrti? byla prokázána negativní korelace s věkem. U škály ?vyhýbání se smrti? bylo zjištěno vyšší skóre u žen než u mužů.The Death Attitude Profile-Revised is inventory created in 1994, which measures five dimensions of attitudes towards death. Two of them are negative: the fear of death and the death avoidance; two dimensions represent a positive attitude towards death: the attitude of approach acceptance and escape acceptance of death; and one dimension is the neutral acceptance of death. We collected a data of 330 respondents (183 women and 147 men) aged 18 to 88 years. The reliability of the Czech version of this method has been successful proved. The regression analysis of the data showed a statistically significant effect of religion on three of reporting dimensions (the fear of death, the death avoidance and the approach acceptance of death). A statistically significant (p$<$0.00) negative correlation with age has been demonstrated in the dimension of fear of death. Statistically significant (p$<$0.00) higher scores in women than in men in the dimension of avoidance of death were also found.
