Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části je popsáno postavení a práva poškozeného v trestním řízení na území českých zemí, od středověku až po současnost. Je zde uveden také vývoj pojmu oběť na území České republiky, z hlediska trestního práva a viktimologie. Do teoretické části je dále zahrnutý nový zákon o obětech trestných činů. Praktická část se zabývá analýzou statistických údajů o míře využívání peněžité pomoci, poskytovanou Ministerstvem spravedlnosti, prostřednictvím Institutu odškodňování.This Bachelor´s thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part there are described the position and the rights of the injured party in criminal proceedings in the territory of the Czech lands, from the middle ages to the present. There is also an outline of the development of the concept of the victim on the territory of the Czech Republic, in terms of criminal law and victimology. The theoretical part also includes the new law about the victims of criminal offences. The practical part deals with the analysis of statistical information about the extent of the use of cash assistance, provided by the Ministry of Justice, via the Institute of indemnification.
