Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat proměny využití ploch pevnostního pásma Olomouce v období od roku 1836 do roku 1929. Zájmové území bylo definováno jako pevnostní pásmo (rayon) táborové pevnosti Olomouc a vymezeno ad hoc jako spojnice čel předsunutých fortů. Zkoumány byly tři časové horizonty (1836, 1876-8, 1929), během kterých byl zachycen na základě starých map stav využití ploch v zájmovém území. Tyto plochy byly vektorizovány a následně jsme zhodnotili vývoj využití ploch. Veškeré analýzy byly ukotveny v historicko-geografickém kontextu a identifikovány hlavní hybné síly proměn pevnostního pásma.The objective of the diploma thesis is to analyse land use transformations of the fort belt of the city of Olomouc since 1836 to 1929. The are of interest has been defined as the fort belt (rayon) of the camp fortress of Olomouc and delineated ad hoc as the line connecting the headings of forward forts. We have examined three time horizons (1836, 1876-8, 1929) and captured the state of land use in the area of interest on basis of old maps. These land use parcels have been vectorised and we have assessed the development of the land use. All analyses have been supported by historical-geographical context and we have identified major driving forces of the transformations of the fort belt.
