Tato diplomová práce se zabývá typy rozdělení pravděpodobnosti na simplexu, který představuje přirozený výběrový prostor pro kompoziční data. Kompoziční data jsou speciálním typem mnohorozměrných dat, která popisují části nějakého celku, tedy nesou pouze relativní informaci. Většina standardních statistických metod předpokládá, že zkoumaná data pocházejí z reálného prostoru s euklidovskou geometrií. Geometrická struktura simplexu je odlišná a nazývá se Aitchisonova geometrie na simplexu. Přirozenou mírou simplexového prostoru není Lebesgueova míra, a proto byla zavedena alternativní relativní míra. Tato míra se označuje jako Aitchisonova míra a je zavedena pomocí transformace Lebesgueovy míry v prostoru ortonormálních souřadnic na simplex. Tato práce popisuje chování a vlastnosti normálního rozdělení na simplexu a speciálně se zaměřuje na Dirichletovo rozdělení na simplexu včetně jeho dvou forem, posunutého Dirichletova rozdělení a posunutého škálovaného Dirichletova rozdělení.This master thesis deals with types of distributions on the simplex, that represents a natural sample space of compositional data. Compositional data are special type of multivariate data and they describe parts of some whole, thus they carry only relative information. Most of standard statistical methods assume that analyzed data come from the real space with Euclidean geometry. The geometric structure of simplex is different, known as Aitchison geometry on the simplex. The natural measure in the simplex is not Lebesgue measure, therefore it is defined a new alternative relative measure. This measure is called Aitchison measure and it is defined as transformation of Lebesgue measure in the space of ortonormal coordinates to simplex. The thesis describes behaviour and properties of normal distribution on simplex and especially it aims at Dirichlet distribution on simplex including its two forms, the scaled Dirichlet distribution and the shifted scaled Dirichlet distribution.
