Hlavním cílem předkládané diplomové práce je analyzovat vývoj a stav konceptu evropské identity a představit poznatky získané z výzkumů evropské identity. Autorka by měla představit různá teoretická východiska autorů, popsat specifika pojetí identity a analyzovat (srovnat) jednotlivé koncepty. Měla by nastínit historické kořeny definování evropské identity. Doplněním teoretické konceptualizace evropské identity bude analýza různých metodologických přístupů k výzkumu evropské identity, vycházejíc z dat Eurobarometru a jiných zpracovaných výzkumů, přičemž v závěru práce představí i vlastní terénní šetření.The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the evolution and status of the concept of European identity and present lessons learned from studies of European identity. The author should present different theoretical bases authors describe the specifics of the concept of identity and analyze (compare) individual concepts. It should outline the historical roots of the definition of European identity. Complementing the theoretical conceptualization of a European identity is the analysis of different methodological approaches to research European identity, based on data from Eurobarometer surveys and other processed, and at the end of the work presents its own field investigations.
