Tématem diplomové práce je evropeizace české imigrační politiky v kontextu širšího působení unijní úrovně na země střední a východní Evropy. V první kapitole je nastaven teoretický rámec, který je uplatněn v rámci následujícího výzkumu. Důraz je kladen na vysvětlení evropeizace kandidátské země a na specifika vyplývající z evropeizace imigrační politiky. Důležitou součástí teoretického rámce je výzkum rozsahu evropeizace. Druhá kapitola nabízí přehled vývoje imigrační politiky na úrovni EU. Třetí kapitola je věnována evropeizaci zemí střední a východní Evropy, v rámci níž je hlavním zkoumaným bodem diverzita, čili rozdíl mezi fungováním sféry justice a vnitra v kandidátských zemích a unijním požadavky pro tuto oblast. Čtvrtá kapitola analyzuje vliv přímých a nepřímých mechanismů evropeizace na formování české imigrační politiky. V práci je argumentováno, že vstup do Evropské unie, potažmo schengenského prostoru, a nutná harmonizace s imigrační politikou EU se staly základními faktory ovlivňujícími českou imigrační politiku. Podle typologie rozsahu evropeizace se jedná o transformaci, což znamená nejhlubší možnou změnu domácí úrovně, kterou působení nadnárodní úrovně může přinést. Přímé a nepřímé mechanismy evropeizace ovlivnily všechny komponenty imigrační politiky (kontrola hranic, vízová politika, azyloví politika, boj proti nelegální migraci) a rovněž byla změněna základní logika fungování české imigrační politiky, když poměrně liberální postoj k cizincům na počátku 90. let byl vystřídán značně restriktivním přístupem.The topic of this diploma thesis is the europeanisation of the czech immigration policy within the context of the European Union's impact on the countries of the Central and Eastern Europe. The first chapter outlines the theoretical frame which is applied in the following research. The emphasis is put on the explanation of the europeanisation of candidate countries and on the specifics rising from the europeanisation of the immigration policy. The important element of the theoretical frame is the research into the extent of the europeanisation. The second chapter offers an outline of the evolution of the immigration policy at the EU level. The third chapter is dealing with the europeanisation of the Central and Eastern Europe countries, within which the diversity is the main area of interest. The chapter describes the difference between the functioning of the sphere of justice and of the home affairs in the candidate countries and the European Union? s requirements for this area. The fourth chapter analyzes the effect of the direct and indirect mechanisms of the europeanisation on the formation of the czech immigration policy. It is argued that the accession to the European Union and, respectively, to the Schengen Area and the necessary harmonization of the immigration policy of the EU became fundamentals that influenced the czech immigration policy. According to the typology of the extent of the europeanisation we are talking about transformation which is the widest possible change of the domestic standards that can be brought by a supra-national level. Direct and indirect mechanisms of europeanisation influenced all the components of the immigraion policy (border control, visa policy, asylum policy , fight against illegal migration). The main conception of the czech immigration policy was also changed when a relatively liberal attitude toward foreigners in the beginning of the 1990?s was replaced by a considerably more restrictive approach.
