Magisterská diplomová práce analyzuje vliv Evropská unie na vzájemnou závislost mezi Českou republikou a Ruskou federací v energetických vztazích. K dosažení tohoto cíle byly vytyčeny dva dílčí cíle. Prvním je analýza energetických vztahů mezi EU a Ruskem po skončení Studené války, která napomáhá porozumět směrování spolupráce EU a Ruska a je zasazena do kontextu vývove politických a ekonomických vztahů. Druhým dílčím cílem je analýza energetické politiky ČR, která je nutným předpokladem pro získání potřebných dat pro ověření hypotézy, zda Evropská unie pozitivně ovlivňuje energetickou politiku ČR ? svým vlivem snižuje asymetričnost v energetických vztazích mezi ČR a Ruskem a tím snižuje možnosti Ruska ovlivňovat energetickou závislost ČR. Práce je dělena do pěti kapitol. První z nich poskytuje teoretický rámec a východiska pro diplomovou práci. Zabývá se zejména konceptem bezpečnosti, energetické bezpečnosti a teorií vzájemné závislosti. Druhá a třetí kapitola zkoumá vývoj spolupráce EU a Ruska z ekonomicko-bezpečnostních, potažmo energetických vztahů. Čtvrtá kapitola se zabývá energetickou politiku ČR z legislativního hlediska a analýzou energetického mixu ČR. V páté kapitole autor využívá teorie vzájemné závislosti k analýze vztahů ČR, EU a Ruska.Masters thesis analyzes the impact of the European Union on the interdependence between the Czech Republic and the Russian Federation in energy relations. To achieve this goal, author identified two sub-goals. The first is an analysis of energy relations between the EU and Russia after the Cold War, which helps to understand the routing of cooperation between the EU and Russia and is set in the context of development of political and economic relations. The second sub-objective is to analyze the energy policy of the Czech republic, which is a prerequisite for obtaining the necessary data to test the hypothesis whether the European Union energy policy positively affects the Czech republic - EU influence reduces asymmetry in power relations between the Republic and Russia, and thereby reduces the possibility of Russia to influence the energy dependence of Czech republic. The work is divided into five chapters. The first one provides a theoretical framework and the basis for a thesis. It deals mainly with the concept of security, energy security and theory of interdependence. The second and third chapter examines the evolution of EU-Russia cooperation on economic and security level, further the energy relations. The fourth chapter deals with the energy policy of the Czech republic from a legislative perspective and analysis of the energy mix of Czech republic. In the fifth chapter the author uses interdependence theory to analyze the relationship between Czech, Russia and EU.
