Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem ekocertifikace a regulace turismu. Vymezuje základní pojmy, představuje koncept udržitelného rozvoje a ekoturismu. Věnuje se počátkům ekocertifikace turismu a rozlišuje jednotlivé přístupy k environmentálnímu hodnocení cestovního ruchu. Značný prostor je věnován nejdůležitějším aspektům a charakteristikám samotné ekocertifikace turismu, popisu procesu certifikace a přehledu výhod, které certifikace přináší zúčastněným stranám. Ekocertifikace turismu patří mezi dobrovolné nástroje a může být efektivním doplňkem formální regulace turismu. Otázce regulace turismu je věnovaná samostatná kapitola, která se zabývá mj. rolí vlád. Součástí práce je srovnávací studie čtyř vybraných certifikačních systémů, které jsou jednotlivě představeny a vzájemně porovnány.Presented diploma thesis deals with eco-certification and regulation of tourism. It defines basic terms, introduces the concept of sustainable development and ecotourism. It deals with beginnings of eco-certification of tourism and distinguishes different approaches to environmental evaluation of tourism. In the main the thesis concentrates on the most important aspects and characteristics of tourism eco-certification itself, on description of the certification process and overview of the benefits that certification provides to its stakeholders. Tourism eco-certification is voluntary instrument and can be an effective complement to formal regulation of tourism. Separate chapter is devoted to the issue of regulation of tourism dealing with inter alia, the role of governments. The thesis includes a comparative study of four selected certification systems, which are individually presented and compared with each other.
