Diplomová práce pojednává o obchodu s ohroženými druhy volně žijících živoči-chů a planě rostoucích rostlin. Zaměřuje se na specifika obchodu v rozvojových regio-nech Afriky, Jižní a Jihovýchodní Asie a Latinské Ameriky. Vymezuje základní charakte-ristiku obchodu s ohroženými druhy a identifikuje hlavní aktéry zabývající se touto problematikou. Hlavní část práce pojednává o charakteristických prvcích obchodu s ohroženými druhy v rozvojových zemích Afriky, Jižní a Jihovýchodní Asie a Latinské Ameriky, dále jsou uvedeny vybrané ohrožené druhy, které se nejčastěji stávají terčem obchodu. V další části jsou jednotlivé regiony dále srovnávány z různých hledisek souvi-sejících s obchodem s ohroženými druhy. V závěru práce je přiblížena problematika obchodu s ohroženými druhy v České republice jako cílové zemi pro komodity tohoto obchodu.This diploma thesis deals with wildlife trade in endangered species of wild fauna and flora. It focuses on the trade specifics in developing countries of Africa, South and South-east Asia and Latin America. It provides basic characteristics of wildlife trade in endangered species and identifies key participants dealing with these issues. Main part of the thesis outlines characteristic factors of the wildlife trade in developing regions of Africa, South and South-east Asia and Latin America, as well as selected endangered species that the traders usually aim for. Next part compares the regions from various viewpoints con-nected to the wildlife trade. The final part of the thesis describes issues of the wildlife trade in the Czech Republic as a target country of the wildlife trade commodities.
